Womanhood Project

This Project was initiated by Emanuela Bracalli , Photography student from Italy , in Year 2 .

The focus of this project is objectification of the female body and how sexuality is percieved when expressed by a Woman. It is Inspired by Francesca Woodman’s work. The final product should end up in a Zine and an Exhibition even though I will probably animate one of the images as my part of the collaboration.

Emanuela took a series of photos on film and sent them to us so we can edit them or use them to create a piece on the Brief. She created this moodboard aswell

I will try with this project to use some vfx skills that I have to tacke something still and in 2d , also keeping the sensitivity of the message alive.

As a girl , I have experienced throuout my life multiple cases when I have been objectified . From the grounds of school , to the streets, to camps or family friends. It is a real issue that as an artist , I can’t stay completly silent about.
